Niahmah! Missed By One Number lah!

(Photo of Adam......."Niahmah! Missed by 1 number!)

TV Smith called yesterday and said he was away from his pc and wanted to know what my nombor giliran was that I got from the JPN at Maju Junction. He was at the 4D betting shop. I told him, 2047 and tumpang the fler for RM5.00 SMALL on the draw.

The first prize last night was 2147! NIAAAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAA! Missed by one number.
Okay, okay I know it is a hundred numbers ahead ok? Don't try to get smart on me.

This is one time I didn't appreciate efficiency in a government deparment. Come to think of it if I had not listened to all the smart comments, "Got to go early one, I tell you", "Must go in the morning and line up as early as possible".....etc. I might have arrived a hundred numbers later.

Niahmah!

Heh! This shot is a damn good parody of a desperate gambler's grimace as he 'squeezes' his card in 'One Lup'!!

hi Patrick,

do you know "niama" is considered a rough, if not vulgar, word? i mean granted it is not followed by other words, but it lkiterally means "your mother", and i think it may not be too polite to use it publicly? i mean, if someone say that to my face i would give them my palm and fist. :-)

Hi Anonymous. Thank you for your lesson in Chinese coloquial phrases. If and when we do meet please identify yourself so that I will not become a victim of your seemingly uncontrollable violent streak. But like all swear words I think it is the context in which the word/s, phrases are used that generate the type of responses it gets.

One last word of advice for you, anoymous. Lighten up. Thank you.

hi again Patrick,
whoa! i am looking at a blog of endless complains and opinions of yours and when i'm giving mine i'm labeled as having a violent streak! hahha, u crack me up dude...

if you can complain and have take on the things going around, but can't take it when someone has one on you, then i guess u r just a plain hypocrite. lighten up? ditto my fren...

i was going to put in my contact when i read the first line, but then after finished reading, i think better not...i worry for my well-being becoming the victim of someone's "uncontrollable violent streak".

pls dun take this negatively man..it's just a comment and as i said i think i'm entitled to, just as you...so just take it as it is lar...cheerios dude!

Hi anonymous, no offence meant nor taken at all. You definitely are
entitled to what you need to or want to say. Hypocrite? Sure I'll
admit that I am one. Sometimes. Anyone here want to say otherwise?

This blog corner sounds like a setting of 4 old men in white singlets swearing and spitting talking about 4Ds in a kopitiam where 1 of them is swatting a fly off his straw and another looking at a lady from china selling cheap products. Patrick is the 3rd one getting excited over the missed number, scolding at the ticket's mother - where the 4th one who is a taxi driver looking onward to him, while digging his ear with his last finger.

Nobody is listening to anyone and no one is getting abused but the poor piece of paper.

Nothing vulgar at all, just very Malaysian-lah.

I'm the anonymous sitting at the next table.
