What he tokking now???

(Laura's impression of 2-faced politicians.)

Read this excerpt from The Star Wednesday 24 May, 2006...

Asked to comment on a statement that CEOs of Government-Linked Companies should resign if their companies failed to meet their Key Performance Index, Abdullah said the resignation or removal of a CEO should not be seen as a failure to perform.

“Sometimes, I will need to move a CEO out because I need him or her to lead another GLC,” he added.

The question was...should they resign if their companies fail to meet their Key Performance Index? So should they?

So what is the answer???

Oh never mind. Tsk...tsk...tsk.

1. talk in incomprehensible sentence when you adressing the public, taking questions from reporters

It's just like how we do to govermment servants' you can transfer them.. cannot sack them.... Pak Lah is full of $$@%@%%@..

Aiyah, Confucius osso get confused by AAB.

Walau eh..AAB couldn't convince us that he can do the job, now he's trying to confuse us some more! I think he is asking to be condemned!

I wonder if Pak Lah is a victim of Malaysia's education system or he is simply practising the politician's side-step tango.

Trashed, I tell you ah Confucius wouldn't have a chance here in Bolehland.

Hey immigrant, the PM may not be as clueless as you think. See? He side-stepped the question and the reporter was speechless. Double-speak 1 journalism 0.

No need to subscribe to Dummies Guide. To become a successful politician simply promise that you will do whatever you said you would do. Then when elected follow the steps listed here...
Turn down both corners of your mouth.
Flare your nostrils as big as they will go.
Glare at the person in front of you.
Now lift one corner of your mouth in a snarl.
Look the other person straight in the eye and say, “So what?”

Actually, you have to admire the spin in this administration's policies. Doublespeak? Educated or not, these fellas definitely have taken Orwell's legacy to heart.

On a totally different subject, chief head of PAS has decided that marrying a lady and providing for her sexual needs (and nothing else) is ok in Islam. On behalf of other Muslims in the country who do not think with our cocks, I would like to beg to differ.

If govn servant not successful in their jobs or our heads of GLC cannot perform ah. Easy la. Privatise another company and put him/her there.

That is Corp Msia. Hahahaha

Confucius, wise as he was, would not be able to reach a position to advise in Bolehland.

Wat to do ? MPs ask to close one eye, shut both ears, open mouth big.

Rakyat have to kangkang.

that's classic way to answer a question, because then the person who asked the question in the 1st place will go ' ha?? what? wtf he's saying? speechless' so no more questions..

Complete the slogan with your creativity:

He will need to move the CEO to another GLC because...

he's the Son-in-Law!

He will need to move the CEO to another GLC because...

He's just a struggling bumi businessman(with an eye-patch) trying to survive...

after all we don't practise ministerial responsibility in bolehland...so why should we remove a CEO of a GLC when he does not perform.....our PM don't want to be accused of double standards so better leave the deadworms there as at the end of the day, it is only taxpayers money mah...when it runs out due to failures, delays which cost the country few millions ringgit, nevermind just raise the petrol price, the electricity tarriffs...the citizens just have to pay, they have no choice..muaaahha....n we still get our big fat CEO paycheque at the end of the day with our driver driving us round in our shinny S-class!!

Anonymous said...

Pak Lah needs to be removed coz he himself knows nothing. So if the head of the country is blur blur, can we hope for better GLC chiefs?

The Unladen Swallow said...

Hah! You and I both know that will never happen in the near future.

"Abdullah said the resignation or removal of a CEO should not be seen as a failure to perform. "

maybe our "learned" PM is saying this so in future if and when he resigns or is not re-elected as PM it should not be seen as a failure on his part to perform.

what foresight our PM has....CYA theory!!

He will need to move the CEO to another GLC because...

'kita semua buat salah, tak apa'

Hahahahaha...thanks for all the comments. They are hilarious. Kita semua buat salah tak apa.
joy, that's a good one. even I didn't think of it that way. Foresight. Great stuff.
dramaking, wait a minute...we're talking about removing CEO's who don't perform. Far as I know the S-I-L is doing okay, isn't he? Sure got in a good kick in the ass for FAM in the MYTeam match last night.

Bingkers, you mean our journalists are all so slow meh? Or they are recovering from shock issit?

Yes, delirium the first time I read about that misyar marriage thing I almost pengsan man. It's 2006 and there is actually a university professor in Malaysia who can come up with something like that. Sounds to me like he's already got somebody in mind to 'help' once this misyar thing becomes law. Syariah or otherwise.

Anonymous said...

these kind of suggestions that make people laugh at our country.. imagine a university professor came up with that idea.. haih.. haih...

patrick, it's hard to ask question to a dumb person, there's not continuity ..from his/her reply.. how to continue asking? :D
