Strange language sometimes. Silly sometimes. Downright infuriating sometimes. Always lots of fun. Always Malaysian.
What's the difference between this one and that? Running out of space to rant or something?
nia mah... i'm addicted to the word nia mah...
tus, I wanted another blog to post short pieces instead of being constantly pressured by myself to update Tokkok which usually requires longer writing. Can or not? Niahmah!!!aaron, told you. It's therapeutic. Maybe even addictive. Say it LOUD! NIAMAH!!!

Niamah is short for Niamah Ciu Hai, right? Aiyoh, why so sexist? The womenfolk always get the brunt.
Anonymous, it is if YOU want it to be. It is not meant to be sexist at all and I am sorry if it came across that way.
excuse me pakcik patrick, but i dont understand what niamah means, please enlighten me ooo wise one.
Nianah is a bad cursing 'F' word is it not...especially when you add a 'tiu' in front...that's usually heard loud and clear in Hong Kong I guess!
Niamah is a bad swearing F word, is it not? You can hear this loud and clear in Hong Kong...and they add a 'tiu' in the front so to curse their hearts out!!! Not nice lah...
Niamah is not short for anything. Itis a word to express frutration, love, jubilation...anything you feel strongly about.
r u the uncle from thestar, do u konw it is not good to always says this kind of word??
I feel for mnuts and anonymous. Both of you have obviously missed the plot behind this blog. Instead, you are harping on the word "niamah". You know what, this very situation epitomises a typical scenario where no other words could reflect the frustration better than the word "Niamah!!!!"
Thank you, Ghost. I couldn't have explained it better myself.
Ahh, finally a place where all walk of lives can 'niamah' and not get beaten up.......and yes let's make this election a real niamah!
I didn't realise there was a debate on the word 'niamah'.Whatever it is, to me, I always think of the word 'fulat' after it, which reminds me of my late friend, Peter Chan.
I don't say Niamah, I say Phoo Nia Bo!! Niamah is more poetic while Phoo Nia Bo is an honest expreesion when we said it! Hahaha...Phoo...
