Niamah is short for Niamah Ciu Hai, right? Aiyoh, why so sexist? The womenfolk always get the brunt.

Anonymous, it is if YOU want it to be. It is not meant to be sexist at all and I am sorry if it came across that way.

I feel for mnuts and anonymous. Both of you have obviously missed the plot behind this blog. Instead, you are harping on the word "niamah". You know what, this very situation epitomises a typical scenario where no other words could reflect the frustration better than the word "Niamah!!!!"

Thank you, Ghost. I couldn't have explained it better myself.

I didn't realise there was a debate on the word 'niamah'.

Whatever it is, to me, I always think of the word 'fulat' after it, which reminds me of my late friend, Peter Chan.

I don't say Niamah, I say Phoo Nia Bo!! Niamah is more poetic while Phoo Nia Bo is an honest expreesion when we said it! Hahaha...Phoo...
